I want to take a tour, how can I schedule a viewing?

We welcome viewings by appointment only. Viewings are after 15.30 hours. You can email us your dates. We look forward to sharing our space with you.

I have a lucky number and want my wedding on that day. How do I check date availability? 

We know that setting a wedding date is no small fish. If you have a special date in mind, just send us an email at puritemplehill@gmail.com and we’ll get back to you shortly, or you can fill out our event request form online and we’ll do everything we can to accommodate your request. 

Does Puri Temple Hill provide staffing for the events?

Puri Temple Hill and Opia Bali provides full service staff, including servers, bartenders and food attendants

Can the menu be customized?

Absolutely — your menu should be a reflection of your taste, style and story. We’d be thrilled to help tailor the menu for your event. Substitutions and departures from menu offerings may incur additional costs or fees.

Can we bring in our own food and beverage?

No food and/or alcohol is to be brought onto any area of the property. This includes anywhere within the entire property owned by the Puri Temple Hill and Opia Bali and includes all access ways, carparks, as this puts our venue in direct breach of our health and sanitation code due to un-managed consumption by guests. Pre-arranged exceptions are sometimes allowed for baby food, celebratory cakes, provided we are able to prove an acceptable level of management within conditions.

Can we bring in our own cake?

Absolutely! We encourage it and work with many reliable bakeries that we partner with should you need a recommendation. Cake cutting fee or Corkage is $80.

Is there a discount for children?
We do have provisions for children under 10 years. Please enquire if this is required as conditions apply. 

 

What about a tasting?

Food tastings are pre-booked and preordered. We will charge you a reduced rate for this once you have locked in your deposit for an event date with us.

How much time is allowed for set up and clean up?

Your buyout includes two hours of set up and one hour of breakdown time. All vendor load in and load out times should be coordinated with our onsite event team and/or your wedding planners.

Should I hire a wedding planner?

We assist in the planning process as it relates to menu, staffing and setup. However, we do not provide day-of coordination. We suggest hiring a coordinator or planner to help you plan your celebration and can recommend one for you. 

Do you have decoration restrictions?

We do not allow confetti, artificial rose petals, glitter or balloons. Candles are a welcome addition to any celebration.

What do we do if there is inclement weather?

We believe in the old superstition that says rain on your wedding day is good luck. If it does rain, most of our event spaces are either covered or can be covered. If you wish for tents - this has to be rented, delivered and installed through an event rental company. Tent costs vary based on size, but generally range from $1500 onwards.

What are taxes, service charges and additional fees?

Food and beverage taxes are 10%

Service charge is 7%

Can we run a bar tab for our function?
Yes, majority of functions run a bar tab of some kind - please let us know in advance & we can set this up for you but we do require limits to be set in place.

How long can we stay?
Functions at Puri Temple Hill and Opia Bali finish around 10 to 11:30pm* to ensure our obligations of a fully vacated premise by no later than midnight.
